Every November, Family Centre celebrates the achievements made to protect and empower children across the globe. World Children’s Day (officially observed on November 20) is a global day of action for children, by children, marking the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The 2023 World Children’s Day theme is “For every child, every right.”
Every child needs unconditional support, protection from harm and to have their basic needs met to grow into an emotionally healthy adult. This World Children’s Day, your investment in children and families will change lives and create a future filled with promise and possibility for those who need it most.
Please support our World Children’s Day Appeal by making a donation today. Family Centre’s funding in 2023 has been significantly reduced, which puts the future of our ‘Continuum of Care’ therapeutic programmes and services at risk. We need your critical support to ensure we can continue to nurture and protect the emotional wellbeing of children, teens and families in Bermuda.
Family Centre provides a range of freely accessible mental health counselling services to families with children ages 4-18 in Bermuda. We also deliver inclusive and impactful youth enrichment programmes: Youth Leadership Academy, Beyond Rugby Bermuda and Beyond Yoga Bermuda, which prepare young people for the future, fill basic needs, and aim to provide equal opportunities for our youth that otherwise may not be possible.
