Family Centre is proud to present Super-Parenting!
All families are welcome to attend our new SUPER-PARENTING 8-Week Family Group and Social Skills Group Workshop!
Join us on Mondays from 5:30-7:00 PM from September 26th to November 14th, 2022.
Super-Parenting is for children ages 4-11 and their parents/guardians. This 8-week intensive group to support families will run weekly on Mondays from 5:30-7:00 PM. A light dinner is served from 5:30-6:00 PM, and childcare is provided. The group will support parents in learning how to utilize supportive tools and techniques to deal with challenging behaviors and tough feelings, while aiding the children in practicing social skills necessary to utilize self-control, following instructions, receiving praise, and fulfilling their family role.
Spaces are limited as we have five spots for children ages 4-7 years old, and five spots for ages 8-11. To enroll in the group, please contact Family Centre at 232-1116 and ask to speak with our Family Support Specialists, Stephanie Medeiros (ext. 2030) or Raynisha Simmons (ext. 2020), to complete a screening.
