Back to School Essentials [2025]

Help your child get socially and emotionally prepared for the upcoming school year with Family Centre’s Back-to-School Essentials: Social Skills Group.

This group is designed to support your child in expressing their emotions calmly and building emotional intelligence – essential skills for social and emotional success.

Through the Zones of Regulation curriculum, we will focus on:
• Identifying emotions
• Recognizing how emotions feel in the body and noticing early warning signs
• Learning positive coping strategies to manage difficult emotions before they lead to challenging behavior.

Back to School Essentials is for students ages 4-7, entering P1-P3. The group takes place at Family Centre from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from August 11-22 2025.
