The Premier sported St George’s and Somerset ribbons as part of a charity’s Cup Match pinning tradition.

David Burt wore both clubs’ ribbons, which were designed to raise cash for Family Centre, at Cabinet Office.

Martha Dismont, the executive director of Family Centre, was joined by Jordan DeSilva, the Somerset captain, and Neil Paynter, the St George’s Cricket Club president, for the event.

Mr Burt said: “I want to thank all of the volunteers and staff at Family Centre for their hard work and wish them a Happy Cup Match.”
